So, i ended up soldering the ground and output pins directly to that black capacitor using wires, and the input pin i had to solder right over the pad which surpsisingly wasnt destroyed, i just bent the leg so it was flat over the pad and solder it directly. After about an hour of tedious soldering ...

Yes but im a bit confused... on the bottom of the board i think all 3 pins on the 7805 are isolated, i dont see them going to any nearby traces. On the top the ground pin goes to the ground plane obviously, the right pin goes to the positive on one of the caps, but the left pin is also isolated :/ I...

Ive had this Snes Jr for a few months, when i got it it didnt turn on so i opened the shell to check what was going on and saw that someone had already tried to fix it. The bit where two pins of the bridge rectifier ("W04") aren't connected is a bad sign. Im an idiot, i just noticed those pins arent actually connected, my sight isnt that good and only now i noticed that with a magnifying glass, anyways my iron is heating up, i will resolder that and post...

You could add a USB micro-B receptacle to the Control Deck and use it with a USB Battery Charging AC adapter instead of the [Ge]NES[is] adapter. Nintendo went this route for the NES Classic Edition.
