Re: More NSF Requests

Does anyone accept any Romhack NSF rip requests? If so, How about ripping music from "Bob-Omb Mario", please? There is already a music seperation IPS patch for this hack's music to apply for Super Mario Bros. 1 only on RHDN, so someone can rip that easily from that patch. https://www.romha...

Dwedit wrote: Fri Apr 22, 2022 6:00 pm Is that code not fully linked or something? Are there missing labels in other source files that were included? R isn't a number.
It's CA65's doing, not mine!

Besides, The code is fine. (when assembled)

That is correct. There is no SRAM/WRAM connection in the NROM cartridges because it is literally just the 8k CHR ROM and 32k or 16k PRG ROM as well as fixed mirroring (H or V).

Re: Modifiable scenarios using cc65

Right now I am at that point, although getting the correct memory address where the object was, storing it, and making it work, is proving too complex for me. The way I suggested above is pretty straightforward... the value you read from the map cell does not represent the object type anymore, it's...

Re: Do you miss any NES-related software on Windows?

Wait... what we're doing is... illegal? /s According to what NSA and Nintendo said, Yes if ROM Hacking. No if using for Homebrew/Permissive reasons. Same reason as If you do not have the cartridge, you must delete the copy or copies of ROM within 24 hrs of time. otherwise bye bye computer!!!

Re: Do you miss any NES-related software on Windows?

See what I said above, it should be under licensing or documentation... I.E. The permission that NSA gave for the use does not allow ROM hacking (illegal activities under Nintendo's guidelines, which I generally doubt. but NSA can be trouble!!!).
