Help rewiring/resoldering RetroUSB NES coord? Please?

So I found my RetroUSB cord completely torn out of the socket from the part that connects the USB to the NES controller. I don't have money to buy a new one right now, so can someone help me fix mine? I broke open the back and there's 4 USB solder points. I figured out what they were V- V+ D- D+ So ...

Re: FamiTracker 0.3.8 beta

That's what causes the nasty sounding harmonics in a >6 channel setting?

That's great! Would love to have that site updated to reflect the new PocketNES versions.

Where would you post updates of PocketNES when you do? PocketHeaven seems to be down again.

lol
It's been there for the longest time, really. It does it with the last samples of world 1 too, but I think it's the same samples used in the desert theme anyways.

Dwedit wrote:MMC3 can bankswitch the second-last 8k, so you can have unlimited samples (limited only by total ROM size).
Is that why some of the samples are missing on PocketNES on SMB3 (ex: samples in world 2 theme)? I thought it was because it might have been using raw PCM but it was a Delta PCM.

Re: Why do DPCM samples have a ROM size limit?

I meant total amount of DPCM data that could be used in a program without extra effort, like IRQ and bankswitching. One sample is smaller, yes, up to 4081 bytes. This. I'm talking about all the data, not just a single sample. Famitracker used to have an obvious limit, but I checked out a recent ver...

Re: Why do DPCM samples have a ROM size limit?

DPCM is played by the hardware, so the size is limited by the hardware design. It is 16384 bytes (could be a bit more, not practically usable). If you want more, you'd have to bankswitch the top 16K, selecting needed bank for a sample, and solve all related problems (keeping vectors and other stuff...

Why do DPCM samples have a ROM size limit?

Why do DPCMs have a storage size limit when full PCMs don't?
What is the exact limit size of DPCM data you can store?

I've notice Famitracker has an "expanded" size limit, but when I export to NSF, the songs freak out when it calls up a DPCM past the "limit".

Thrice - Digital Sea (Famitracker | VRC6)

I thought I'd share this with you guys.
I made a cover of Thrice - Digital Sea, from The Alchemy Index album.

I made it last year, and completed it earlier this year. I hope you enjoy.

Presenting: Delta Modulation VST

If any of you are into making music through a DAW, and ever wanted to incorporate NES-like elements into music, but not just make an NSF song, I have something that you would maybe love. I love making music in Famitracker, but sometimes I want to just have small elements influenced by the 2a03. I we...

I thought I'd give some info about the project and the album and band I'm covering. Colony was released by a band called In Flames in 1999. In Flames has been around/formed since about 1990, with their first album in 1994, and are still an active band to this day. They are considered to be a "f...
