Re: Change my username?

His humor style is very specific and should have give you a hint. With years of experience on nesdev it's easy recognize it

Re: Reviving Mesen-S?

Oh hey! You were mentioning something about him working on something that has yet to be announced. Where did you originally hear that from? Or just rumors? I was talking to him in DM when things cooled down a little bit and this is when he talked about that subject. It's been a while already and wa...

Re: 8x16 and whatever else unreg wants to know

I don't know what is the cause of your error but doing 5 asl in a row shouldn't be an issue. I have such code in my source code with ca65 and no such issue occur. Must be something else that you didn't find yet. edit: I misread the part that it was specific to asm6 so my post may be irrelevant then ...

Re: Reviving Mesen-S?

No way that's going to happen. If I recall correctly, Sour stopped developing Mesen-S because he was sick of all the work maintaining emulators required. Well, he's been actually working on something but he's not talking about it publicly. As to when it will be available that's up to him when he's ...

Re: Command for direct branching in NESASM3 assembler

Unnamed/anonymous labels is a functionality that is not supported in nesasm.

Some a for, some against so I guess better not start a "war" on the subject

Re: Anti-spam proposal

@krzysiobal,

unless we can get in touch with the admin like mentioned above there is not much that can be done about it. For the time being, we can only do our best removing the mess done by those automated ones.

Re: Stop byuu/near

This has really saddened me to learn of. I had some doubt but someone who knew him well contacted me and confirmed it. He lived a tortured life. In our collaborations he was kind and generous and I will miss him. I never had much chance to talk to him except a few time here and there on twitter but...

Re: Anti-spam proposal

How often do you check in? There's spam every night the last couple of times I check the forum before I go to bed. Obviously no one has taken it down. These days I have been quite busy so I can only log in irregularly. I have deleted a lot of spam too in the last few days so there seems to be some ...

Re: Mesen revival (attempt)

It was discontinued "BUT" these days sours is active again on discord and from what we discussed a few months ago he's working on the code but for the UI part and may have soomething later. What will be the end result of it is hard to say yet but he's taking it easy not so that may be in a...

Re: OverlayPal: A graphics tool for automatic sprite overlay creation

Regarding Kasumi's version, I was testing some beta version in 2018 when working on the mm9 project and it helped for a few screen I converted. As for being released, I do not think this specific feature was and it may not be either since the main issue with it is most people expect magic and this i...

Re: OverlayPal: A graphics tool for automatic sprite overlay creation

I wasn't aware of this thread thus not answering. I will check the details later but if I understood from the quick read it's takes a picture, extract and do sprite overlay when not possible. If this is the case, this is something that Kasumi is quite familiar with since it's own i-chr has this feat...
