As I stated in my PM, I no longer have the project files.. but the adapter is so simple, that you can easily re-create my work based on the gerbers that I have posted.
FreePCB does not allow you to "import" gerbers.

Re: which TSOP adaptor rev. is best (for SNES use)?
If you are programming them pre-mounted, then Type 2 and 3 are functionally identical. The swapped around address lines only matter if you are programming the 29F032 directly before soldering to the adapter.

Those that can solder a tsop are not novice people. And if you have a good source for the 29F032, then please let me know cause I can't find any. BuyICNow.com has lots of 29F032s available. They even have them premounted on their adapters for SNES, and offer programming services as well. http://www...

Re: Snes cartridge rom expansion pcb and tsop
I had designed and built something similar, but I like yours better since it attaches to the original PCB much cleaner.

Re: Broken "Illusion of Time" cartridge fixable?
Well, if you look on the picture of the front as well, there is quite a bit of wear a few millimeters above the contacts. The lightening in color of the soldermask in an even line on both sides tells me that the plastic shell of the game has worn against the PCB, damaging the soldermask and even tho...

Re: M59PW1282 to snes bus?
That is an unusual Flash ROM.. Two 64mbit chips stacked on top of each-other by the fab..
Looking at the datasheet, the IO pins have to be +/-0.6v from Vcc unless the operation is less than 20ns at which time it can overshoot to Vcc+2.0v.

Re: SNES cartridge PCB thickness
I am interested in the eagle outlines, I have quite a bit of prep work for the schematic of some carts, and the outlines would help get a jumpstart on an open source cart layout.
That is assuming that you are willing to give away your outlines in an open source project.

I was unaware that they started selling pre-populated TSOP adapters, that is not a horrible price for it either. If I didnt already have about 20 of those made up in my workshop, I would probably pick a few up. I would use a TSOP for any game over 16mbit up to 32mbit. For 16mbit games, just use a 2 ...
