Github Pages is a decent host for static websites. You can even point a registered domain name there using a CNAME file. In terms of performance, it's through the roof. You get CDNs serving everything. Strictly static though. And all uploads happen via Git rather than FTP or SFTP. And your web repos...

Animations (such as 'new post glow') eat up CPU/GPU resources

I just measured that the animations on icons, such as the glow to indicate "new post in the thread", are eating up a significant amount of CPU or GPU time. Is there any way to remove these from the board?

GIF animations (such as the smilies) use much lower resources, so they're okay.

I play Nickelodeon All Star Brawl, where opponents occasionally show up after waiting more than 10 minutes. Really fun game if they do show up though, I main April O Neil.

US version of Master Chu is Mapper 11, Taiwanese version is either Mapper 133, or Mapper 79, same program works on both boards. That board seems to be Mapper 79, not 133.
