I can think of three things that might cause a synchronized Start button press not to provide perfectly synchronized games: Games that use the time on title screen to seed a pseudorandom number generator Games that have some sort of task scheduler like the 21-frame cycle of Super Mario Bros. It seems to me that just being able to get both consoles to display the title screen at the same time (i.e. no need to sync from reset) would be enough to start a synchronized play session. Since the Retron 5 is an emulator machine, I do expect the games to go out of sync not long after the game st...

Folks I want to drive two consoles simultaneously with one controller. The reason being I want to test various clones against the real nes with the same games to test for lag. I have spliced 2 nes extension cables into a y adapter and quickly learned it's not as easy as that. Has a one done this be...
