Just wanted to share this, in case anyone is considering getting the Chip Maestro and has any doubts. Sure, you could build something yourself, but I'll put it this way: I got an NES console for like 20 bucks on ebay, bought the Chip Maestro, and within a week I was able to work out entire sequences...
