I'm hearing from other people that the .pcm files for MMX are way too loud, which is probably a holdover from the SD2SNES volume issues on older firmwares, which would be right in line with koitsu's diagnosis of clipping. they were at default. ive messed with them quite a bit trying to fix it. not able too. doubt its the settings themselves
