What region is your NES?
I recently programmed two with tlL866 and they worked (ntsc).
Wasn't aware about this issue. :shock:

Didn't Kirby 3 use dithering because the colour math is already used for semi-transparent water or something, so they needed an additional way to make the foreground semi-transparent? I don't think Kirby 3 does anything that couldn't have just been done with 50% blend colour math. At least, it defi...

It looks like it.
Look at the main character's shadow. It's also using a checkered pattern to create a transparent effect.

I'm trying to program the NES Attiny13 CIC implementation by krikzz with the Mini Pro TL866. I can write the program just fine, but I'm not sure about the switches.
