I've noticed you've done some gbs rips too. Would you accept any requests? Or should I send an e-mail to some of the other regulars from the gbs archive (kingshriek, ugetab)? I'm not sure what the best place to ask for that is, but Neil mentioned on his site that none of his gb stuff has been ripped...

There was a post on another forum inquiring about nsfs for Punisher, The, and Vs. Dr. Mario. I can see that The Punisher is on the not ripped list, but I didn't see the latter on there. I have Punisher, The ripped and scheduled for release. If you want me to bump it up to be released sooner, I can....

I can safely say this is the most nutty single voice echo demo I've heard for the NES. :)

After a while it really starts sounding like two channels.

interview with alberto gonzalez

http://good-evil.net/features/interview-with-alberto-gonzalez-part-1 I thought you guys may get a kick out of this- The NES had something special. The triangle wave channel was a good source for percussive sounds and boomy basses, although it wasn’t very usable for other kind of sounds. I really enj...

a wiki-based nsf archive?

Unfortunately I come only as an idea man here, but I would love to see a comprenhensive and organized nsf archive. One that offers a level of organization and functionality that's more up to speed with something like unexotica or project 2612 (although I know the latter isn't a wiki). Nsf archives a...

What on earth...! Let me take a look. I sampled the nsf to get what you hear streaming on that page so it should be good... edit: ack, you're right! how did that happen? maybe it got corrupted while zipping it? is that possible? Try exporting another nsf from the ftm file. I just did that again and ...

I've also used nsfplay slowed down as much as possible to figure out parts. It was to recreate a Mega Man tune just for the sake of it. You can check it out here- http://8bitcollective.com/music/bucky/Mega+Man+3+-+Wily+Part+2+Recreation/ Now all of the voices in that tune are fairly simple, this wou...

Intonation issues with PAL nsfs (nsfplay vs. notsofatso)

I'm not sure which is more accurate, but here are samples of the same tune (smurfs track 13) played back in each player- notsofatso sample (lower) nsfplay sample (higher) I'm under the impression notso is the correct one, sharing the same pitch as nezplayer as well. They all seem to share the same s...

Ah yes, this would be appreciated. I think knurek has been converting most of my NSFEs to m3u for me (I've been making a bunch ), but I was still interesting in checking it out. :) m3u is supposed to work with which nsf players / plugins again? It doesn't seem to work with standalone nsfplay or nezp...

Ah, is there an nsf for Mr. Gimmick (E / PAL)?
I'd be interested in seeing a rip of the expansion-less companion to Gimmick, I couldn't find it on arc nova or in knurek's archive.

Cool thanks. You're the best! No rush of course, just that it's probably the only interesting track in the whole game. A couple more things to bog you down with if you have the spare time-- Palamedes (incomplete)-- Palamedes appears to be missing a track, the ending credits music. It can be fo...

Ah, cool. Nice work!

Yeah it may be less obvious when heard as sfx, but when it's used melodically with the rest of the normal channels it stands out much more.
