How can you attack an ennemy wich isn't in the screen yet before you jump on a platform, and that appears just when you're about to land on the said platform just to push you down to your doom ? Actually it said "Your purchase will be shipped by PayPal Shipping with U.S. Postal Service®", not that it _had_ been shipped.. But it was sent out by service@intl.paypal.com

The sound hardware is not all that different (from a programmer's perspective anyway). But the CPU and PPU (having what basically is a second BG layer for example) are quite different, and iirc the gameboy also has a timer and a scanline counter etc. Perhaps it would be an interesting project to try...

Just out of curiosity I tried applying a delta-codec to the smb_orig pattern data and got a file that was 11956 bytes (that is, about 18% of the original file. or 73% if compared to a plain 2-bit represenation).
