Finally, an NTSC compatible demo.
Nice physics, too.
The credits text is hard to read. White text on a background of varying contrast is really hard to read sometimes, at least give the text a black outline.
Also, nice TikTok girl.

Re: Super Mario Bros.: Why all the floating money?
Do I smell a spammer? What, did someone post something that just got deleted? All these contradictions and inconsistencies bring to question the legitimacy of it all. If these people were supposedly writing words from a deity, especially in a monotheistic religion, any inconsistencies coming from a...

Re: Super Mario Bros.: Why all the floating money?
Personally I love history and reading old texts like this, holy scriptures or not. But I'm not getting into the morals of any particular details of any holy scripture. There's too much to cover and I haven't read anywhere near half of them. There's bond to be contradictions and inconsistencies, sin...

Re: Super Mario Bros.: Why all the floating money?
Yes, religion has served many purposes, and it's good to study the history so that we can learn from its mistakes. When it comes to preserving the religion, it's a double-edged sword. Every religion has things that are no longer accepted in modern society, and trying to practise these things just b...

Re: SuperRT - realtime raytracing expansion chip
Why were you trying to avoid widescreen? I wasn't trying to avoid widescreen entirely, just that I felt like a very widescreen aspect ratio would make it feel "less SNES-like". It was purely an aesthetic decision, really. Because as we all know, the SNES was known for its raytracing capab...

Man, we really need jams for other consoles. Especially the SNES.
Oh, ahem, uh... nice. Time to get my ED64+ and find some widescreen cheats for these homebrew games.

Re: Question about "Kid Icarus"
Clearly Nintendo wanted to make it harder for people who rented their games off of Blockbuster, where Nintendo won a lawsuit against Blockbuster over photocopied manuals.

Re: Why did Sega CD games have lower quality non-music samples than Genesis games?
I think apart from the driver thing (even if there is no PSG driver in the BIOS you can just sneak in the drivers used in cart games, so there is no excuse here) they (Sega? consumers? developers?) probably had some high hope on whatever new features introduced by the CD add-on. For example, they (...

Inability to answer questions and take a meaningfull participation in topics created make me suspicious that bot just posts some array of strings and nobody on that side sees what is going later. Why bot? Because some day it needs to edit all posts to link contamination or whatever. Yeah, but the q...

I doubt Ronian53 is an AI. He's slightly too advanced.

Think about it. If there's already a thread for asking these kinds of questions, he would have no need to make entire new threads for his.rainwarrior wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 5:54 pm I'm definitely not commenting for Ronian53's benefit. ;P

As for the thread thing, Ronian's constant thread making makes me think we should have a single thread where you ask the questions you have about consoles and computers there.
