ok, so how would i wire A16-A19 on the board then?

As I understand it, LoROM uses A15 as a positive enable and doesn't use it on the ROM itself. HiROM uses A15 OR A22 as an enable, but it does route A15 to the ROM.

yea i like bending up because if i cut a wrong trace the board is done. i did see that A15 can be ignored on snes boards. not sure how i would go on from there though

ok, i think i got most of it:

bend up pins 1,2,24,30, 31
hole 24 to pin 2
hole 31 to pin 24
hole 1 to pin 30
hole 2 to pin 31

but where would i wire A19 (hole 30) on the board to?

ram chip numbers - what do they mean?

can anyone tell me what the model #'s mean on the ram chips on nes boards? some end in 10L, 12L, 15LL etc. i had heard they were the speed, but would like some info from you guys. thanks!

yea use skull and crossbones. straight solder in a 27c512 chip for the CHR and wire the PRG like a TLROM. thats it, pretty simple

If your only goal is to wire the eeprom, Konami uses JDEC chip. This mean the pinout for the chips for all their game are the same (VRCVII VRCVIII). It was confirmed by Kevtris. that sucks. i was looking to wire up this board with a new eprom:

i have the 28 pin CHR wired up fine, but the PRG has 32 pins and it doesnt wire up normally. any suggestions?
