crap, im sorry that was wrong. the chr should be fine, but the PRG is wired like this:

bend up pins 1,2,24,30,31,
pin 24 to pin 22
pin 2 to hole 24
pin 30 to hole 1

that should work

no rewiring is required, just a straight solder. you have to use skull and crossbones though

nope didnt work. i think the pin 1 of the CHR and PRG needs to be lifted as does pin 26 and 27 because they are address lines. does that sound right?

i was using 2 27c512 chips, so all the pins fit on the board. ill look over it again and put up some pics

ok maybe ill try this, but i have a few questions. as for the "Q" pins, which 3 go to the CHR and which one goes to the PRG? This part i didnt understand: So you have to use lines D4, D5 and D6 to feed the lines connected to the CHR chip and line D0 to feed the line connected to the PRG ch...

any idea on how this would be wired?

i wanted to put a 27c020 eprom on an UNROM. i was looking at this thread to get the wiring: http://nesdev.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=2849&highlight=uorom even though it is not a 27c020 eprom being used, would this just wire up normally like an UNROM and then just add a wire from bent pin 3 of 74HC3...
