can someone try the roms of these on their powerpak. i am getting a flickering screen for lion king and missing graphics for beauty and the beast. i tried all the roms i could find on the net, they all do it. so i am guessing a bad dump, or incompatibility with the powerpak (my nes has lockout chip ...

WRAM chip

is it possible to program an EPROM as a WRAM chip? this would be useful when making a FF3 cart, so instead of taking a WRAM chip off another board, a programmed EPROM would be used as a CHR RAM chip. just a thought

nes humming when hooked up by av cables

so my friend has a 40 inch lcd flat screen he hooked up his nes to with the av cables (yellow, white, red) through one of the ports in the back of the tv. the games play fine, but there is a low humming sound. is there any way to get rid of this? i have mine hooked up like this and the sound is fine.

saving games with powerpak

has anyone setup their powerpak to save games? i dont understand how to do this. i put the empty save files from retrousb on the card. now what do i do? why are there 2 sizes?

so i obtained a PEEOROM board and was able to get the punchout hack to boot up, but still has scrambled graphics. so it seems this board uses the normal PRG pinout but a different CHR pinout. anyboy have any suggestions on how to wire the CHR? i wired it like a MMC1

i have a repro, but have the same problem. also if it doesnt work on the power pak, then it wont work in real hardware

it has this problem in emulators as well, so i believe it would be the patched rom. also tried on power pak. the original rom works fine, its when you apply the patch that game freezes up,

so i patched the rom with the .ips file to translate it to english, but it messed up the rom. in FF1, when i go to talk to someone in the first castle, it freezes up. i used the lunar ips program. is there something i did wrong? i even tried an already patched rom and the same thing happened. here i...
