Many translated games that were expanded do not change the internal game information which the Game Doctor SF series can be affected by too. For example Final Fantasy IV was expanded from 8 Mbits to 12 Mbits but the internal info was not changed to reflect this and my GDSF made the game unable to r...

If you have an SNES mini, then that is the problem. Still not sure what is wrong with that system, may just not like the lower voltage inputs. Next thing to try is setting DMA=0 in the CONFIG.TXT file in the POWERPAK directory. Some cards can't handle the faster access time of the DMA mode, so it wi...

I think I finally solved it, of course completely unrelated to everything I was looking at. Reset pin on that rev of that chip has a different voltage/current threshold (some analog crap I don't get) so a simple pull up fixes the problem. I found it while accidently plugging in the board into a powe...

Need help with PPU rev differences
As has been my horror for the last 2 weeks, I am still having problems with code on systems with PPU2 rev1 constantly resetting. As an example, I put some code up at http://www.retrousb.com/snes It works perfectly on every emulator, every clone, and any console with PPU2 rev > 1. This is basically j...

As far as I can tell, nobody knows any of the differences. There is only a mention of DMA and HDMA colliding on some versions of some chips. However I have HDMA off and there is still something weird happening. There are also no case markings to tell which chips are inside. A lower serial number (8 ...

SNES v1 (CPU v2, PPU1 v1, PPU2 v3): Word Great! :) Of course this is the system I tested with, and emulators pretend to be. If only everyone had it :) SNES v2 (CPU v2, PPU1 v1, PPU2 v3): Boots, Claims SDRAM Error, DSP1 Not Installed (but it is) :( This is next on the list to be checked out. There i...

Re:
Moreover, my email from August 4th was really clear: Weren't you going to prove I lied and gave you a wrong address? Oh wait, your picture shows I didn't. The package that I send you back from France at the address you gave me, has been returned back to me That doesn't say why it was returned (unde...

Re:
Do you want me to post that on this forum and also others discussion forum to prove how you consider myself and your customers ? Sure! Post the pictures from your Aug 4th email. Your "retroback4.jpg" photo will show I did not give you an incorrect address. This is why, on Aug 6th, I asked...

I'm sure RetroZone could do that for international buyers if they were willing to pay for the better shipping option. But nobody will ever pay that, because they always expect packages to make it no problem. For a box, priority mail from here to Europe is $13 while Global Express is $59+. Put that ...
