your game of childhood, inside your heart and the music is wonderful for you... OR the requests happen because you're a collector ? ;) I have rips that could fall under either category. Why do you think I ripped Frommer's Travel Guide? It's because I have the cart, and wanted a GBS for the collecti...

Think about it this way: If I mess up, and don't notice, someone else will have to notice and tell me. If nobody listens to the GBS, that won't happen. With that in mind, it's easier to just concentrate on a single game for a while then go to the next. It comes down to the same thing as only caring ...

Now I remember why I never optimize. It causes more errors than the space savings are worth. Turns out one minor issue with the MM2 GBS was that 3(0x03) bytes of trailing 00s were trimmed from the file. Why the hell they were removed is beyond me, but by adding them back in, the first note of severa...

It's not being grumpy that makes me favor new GBSs to existing ones, it's just an understanding. I rip them as well as I can think to at the time, release them if I can't hear anything wrong, and provide tools to help repair them if someone wants to start getting into GBS ripping. If nobody seriousl...

1. I set the Stereo value the way the game wanted for stereo sound on many tracks. If there are problems, I expect the people who actually like listening to the GBS to tell me. After all, if nobody cared that I ripped or edited something, who's going to care if it's a little wrong? 2. The actual int...

The issue isn't that it wastes too much time to write long, useless posts, the point is it takes little effort to do so, even if you make it semi-accurate. Don't make useless clutter. If you disagree with the clutter, stop the people who make the most trash posts. At some point, free speech becomes ...

Meh. I wasn't going to vote, but jargon's clearly not getting any better with time. He could learn a lot from me if he hadn't hit his head that hard, and been suffocating for so long, and taken so many hallucinogens, and had so many strokes, and lived with such a low skull capacity, and developed AD...

No. My particular views are a side-effect of having taken a fair amount of time to determine whether or not people in general did the things they do for any good reason. In the process of this, I believe I figured out what motivates most people, at a rather basic level, to continue going about with ...

If you know someone who will repeatedly escape from a logical debate by use of the form of language, or will refuse to admit their lack of knowledge in-so-far as they continue an argument with no basis, or by redirection of the topic discussed, then I'd consider them below me. I don't urinate on tho...

Aspies(or those with similar thought patterns) who manage to force themselves to try out the overall thought patterns of those negative individuals who tell them what to do, think, and say may indeed find the experience enlightening, and may well end up with them believing the majority of humanity t...

I think this could just be a case of the people on this forum being spoiled by rarely having to deal with crappy people. I'll admit that this is a preferable way of over-indulging, as few forums can really make a claim to intellect as well as a low level of harassing users. With how often I find it ...

I don't rip GBS files for no reason. Sometimes I end up ripping GBSs like Animorphs or Bomberman Quest, which have music that's very much worth the time it takes to make a rip. I don't always get good music, but I usually end up with something to browse through for the effort. I like it because I so...
