GoodNES is the only tool I know that will "fix" headers, and yet it is prone to errors. Will SOMEBODY ever make a ROM header fixer based on the Nestopia database??!? I made one in php, not very hard. Think I released the source...can't remember if it was the final version I made or not th...

I used to just use a standard text editor, preferably a one with syntax highlighting when available. Currently I've been using eclipse for most stuff, but mainly because I've mostly only been doing Java for school projects (the IDE makes it easier to manage/test)

I've only done the wiifree, which was fairly simple. IIRC, with newer wiis you can't mod them that way because they actually removed the pins off of the IC (you can still probably mod it...just need to eat some of the chip's casing away...)

Not extra ram, just the MMC1 mapper IC. No luck getting the rom given working when I inserted the correct header. From what I see, it's 663 bytes longer than the working copy of US Zelda.
