Think you might make it auto-recognize rom & sav files based on folder name or something? (so you could just point to the folder and it'd recognize that there's a rom in the folder matching the folder name, etc)
like a dir structure of
/Root/Rom_Name/Rom_Name.nes
/Root/Rom_Name/Rom_Name.sav

Even if you put audio through the cartridge, you'd still need a modded NES or an expansion port dongle with male/female through audio connectors to put on the side of the nes, wouldn't you?

Well, even if they did add them, odds are we'd remove the post since rom/modchip/etc talk on the forums is for the most part not allowed :P

Fairly sure most inaccuracies in the NOACs are due to cost cutting/low manufacturing qualities, not design.

NOACs are nice because of their size and power requirements, but with some basic modding you can make a portable using a real NES that's not *too* much bigger than a few carts stacked on top of each other. I'd love to make one with a 5" LCD and the PowerPak :P

Yeah, him and some of the forum users make some good stuff (nothing too fancy as far as electronics go usually though). I just started finalizing mine (putty, sanding, paint) http://benheck.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=18422
