Great work with the GBS page. I don't think the two Lufia III rips are significantly different enough to put them both on. All mine does is start off at a different place, so that the first track in the rip is the first track in-game (the other tracks aren't in order). Will do. I'll just update the...

Re: Super PunchOut SPC and GBS Request
Please excuse me if this is in the wrong forum, but I wanted to know, the Super PunchOut soundtrack that I found has all the music cues used in the game, but however it is missing the fight theme for the Major, World, and Special Circuits. It only contains the Minor Circuit fight theme. Did you try...

I've finished the GBS page, url is above. Replace .html with .7z to get whole archive pack (about 3 MB) - though I wouldn't recommend it - it's still in beta stage. Also, if any of you have GBS files not listed there, or want to provide corrections for the unknown fields (only verified information, ...

I'm interested why did nobody mention earlier this site: http://manbowj.hp.infoseek.co.jp/nsf/index.shtml
Seems to have a few NSF files (well, batchfiles to make ones) that noone else has (Dungeon & Magic - Swords of Element, Magical Doropie, etc).

Do you also know where to find tunes? My own tracking skills and patience leave a lot to desire. ftp://ftp.modland.com/pub/modules/pollytracker/ Most of them if not all are also available as sids on HVSC. And, umm, dirty64 is better than 80% of my module collection (and I do have *a lot* of them). ...

PollyTracker, bah.

Ultimate GBS/NSF archive
I really think that there's need to be a centralized site with all the NSF/GBS rips out there. Zophar's long dead, and browsing through the many rippers pages for new additions can be a pain. So I'm starting a page that will (for now) host my NSF/GBS collection. You can find the template here: http:...

Re: Tagging and timing NSF music
Goals - Duration and title for each track of an NSF Why stop here? What about full xSF/ID666 tag field (separate artist, comment, genre fields for each track)? True, it would be a bit overkill as composer information is rarely know for NES music, but could be useful. Also the comment field would al...

I think I'm better understanding the big picture. My idea was to write some tools to help with timing and tagging NSF files to produce NSFE files suitable for submission to Disch's NSFE archive, so that everyone benefits from the work. Your idea seems to be a quick-and-dirty tool to privately time ...

What I'm still lacking are the practical problems caused by the limitations. In other words, describe a user scenario where these limitations manifest as a problem: 2) Having a single track duration without any loop points Well, as long as I *can* specify the amount of loops the timing tool will de...

I can't see how having data on the intro and loop length helps much, since you can always just tell the player to play the track longer if you want to listen to it more. Well, timing for two loops seems to be a de facto VGM standard (see snesmusic.org or www.caitsith2.com/gsf. Most of PSF/USF files...

I've finally got back to working on the NSF timing and NSFE generation tools. Sorry for the sudden absence from when it was being discussed over a month ago. I've been meaning to PM you to ask you about it. Nice to know that you were still working on it. They are almost done. I'd like to get things...

Anyone know if the Videogame: The Movie: The Game thingy is fake or something?
The NES version has some groovy tunes, so if it's true, might this one be ripped?
More info here: http://xocmusic.com/vgtmtg/
