Re: Is Slick Productions (NSFe) Down?
When I try to access http://slick.panicus.org/nsfe.php , I get a 404, and removing the nsfe.php gives me the administrator control panel access, which is weird. Of course, I can't get in, because I don't know the password. The regular panicus.org gives me the same thing. I have some (hopefully all,...

Hey Knurek, thanks for that .gbs pack. I wanted the updates but didn't want to click on every single file. No problem. Hopefully we'll see GBS rips catch up to NSF this year. While there aren't that many unripped games on NES left (I'd say less than 5%), on the Gameboy front the number's at about 7...

RSN archives are just SPC files all put in a RAR archive that was renamed RSN. So if the SPC files contains multiple sample data, code, etc..., they are just compressed and not reducted to only one data. I don't know if the RAR algorithm will automatically detect large chunks of data that are repea...

OPTIONS is all I'm looking for - Options that a normal end-user can employ to create/manipulate/transfer NES Sound. Interestingly enough, there's already a format that enables both tag data, track selection, timing and all that other glut. It's even supported by one of the best NSF players (NSFPlug...

Oh, btw, I've updated the NSF Pack I've put a while ago. Should be on par with all the new rips/ugetab's fixes.

I recommend a TFMX-Player for the Amiga Turrican TFMX tunes, then. Try DeliPlayer if you have a Windows PC. Or try xmp-delix plugin for XMPlay if you want something that's still being worked on (I have the latest beta build here with audio.device support - something that DeliPlayer didn't have). Or...

Re: chipography
If anyone's using NSFPlug to play this smorgasm of music, be sure to uncheck 'Eliminate clicking noise' in APU2 section. You should hear the samples then.Memblers wrote:Here's a bunch of tunes I wanted to release. More to come later. There's 183 tracks in this NSF.

Re: My demoscene project completed
My 64k intro for the PAL NES is ready, and can be downloaded from: http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=26485 It's nothing special, and it's a little buggy too, but at least the music is good ;) Ah, I see that you come from the 'Early 90's PC Demo' school of design. Very nice tune though, and the effect...

I guess it means that I didn't actually browse to the URLs to see what was at them (which, considering I was at work at the time, isn't exactly something I can freely do - verifying any foreign-looking URL could be potentially disasterous) - when it comes to potentially suspicious-looking URLs, I &...
