I like that a lot. Has quite the IWBTG feel to it (was that the intention?)Sivak wrote:Hey all. Updated this with a demo video if you wanna see how it's all looking. It's in the first post, but I'll post it below this too.

You do realise that posting a link to TvTropes probably breaks a dozen or so worldwide conventions... and not stating that it is a link to TvTropes breaks another dozen or so.Dwedit wrote:Do not click on this link

Muffledness of SNES stuff is what bothers me the most... I wish reas SNES could sound like emulation where sample rate is set high and all interpolation and filtering is turned off so the sound becomes crisp. The output sample rate is high enough for somewhat crisp sound but the interpolation nulls...

What is source control anyways ? If I remember correctly, source control (eg CVS or SVN) works kind like a physical library does. You have a project with all its files and for some reason you want to work on a portion of it so you 'check it out' of the system. Once you do that nobody else is able t...

The 4x DVD-ROM in the PlayStation 2 console transfers data at about 5 MB per second. A CD-quality VAG compressed audio stream like that seen in DDR series or Katamari series is 50 KB per second. So every 15 seconds or so, the drive just has to take a break from whatever level data it's streaming an...

Looks nice, and costs less than what my SF7 setup cost (main unit, extra ram, parts for building CD-ROM, replacement floppy drive, etc). I'm a little disappointed at no prospect of SFX or SDD1 support (the SFX was developed on a FPGA btw according to Wikipedia) but I suppose we cant have everything....

THANK YOU GOOGLE IMAGE CACHE!! Now I don't look like an idiot for posting an image of a nes powerpak. Low res, but you get the picture. Now this is something that would certainly make my trusty 128Mbit GDSF7 and CD-ROM obsolete! I hope that SDRAM is a decent size. Also, notice that the extra pins o...

Stunt Race FX is a cart that fits the bill nicely for StarFox 2. Yes it isn't a SFX2 cart but I have made on using Stunt Race FX and baring one or two occasions it is quite playable. Also I hear that the cart can be overclocked slightly using a faster resonator or crystal to improve the frame rate b...
