(cross posted everywhere) I think I have found the root problem for the sprite glitches . 8) I have seen some background white lines but not often enough to tell if this fix makes those right too. If half of heads are missing in SMB3, this is the problem! Oddly enough SMB3 is nearly glitch free her...

remo, what's the serial number on the bottom of your NES? I have a toaster that exhibits very similar glitches, and I wonder if they're the same revision. N26617413 I replaced the connector with a new one last year, so I know its not a dirt/fatigue issue. That and the fact that I have no problem wi...

Okay, roms are all sorted out and as GoodNES as they get. Only one problem game that I remember stopped having problems (F-117) the rest are still experiencing the same exact minor graphical corruption. Random list off the top of my head: Excitebike (JU) [!] Player, starting gates, temperature gauge...

If the menus work before the game is loaded, I don't see how the SRAM can be bad. A higher address line could be though. Yeah, I've seen no graphical corruption in the menus. As I try more games, I'm seeing more (of the same minor) problems. I've checked the header info (for Excitebike for example)...

Yes, I thought about that as well. Is there a NES emulator that does use all the info (headers, etc) so I can narrow this down? The list of games with minor graphical defects is growing here.tokumaru wrote:Well, Nestopia does use CRC's to identify ROMs, so bad headers do not affect it most of the time...

Most everything I've tried so far works like a charm! But it seems there are a few games that have consistent partial graphics corruption (like a piece of a tile). Some of the top of my head - RC Pro Am (car antennas and place indicator has garbage), Donkey Kong 3 (DK has garbled fists on the title,...

Got mine today! HOLY SHIT does this thing ROCK ! :D bunnyboy you've done an AMAZING job with this!! It's so easy to use I had it up and running in minutes. Only slight issue I've had so far is that the CF ejector tab needs to be tucked in when pushing the cart slot down into the NES, otherwise it ha...

Sounds Awesome! +1
I've been waiting a *very* long time for something exactly like this. Count me in for one as soon as they are ready.
