Game Genie codes have nothing to do with the Rom File address, and all to do with the address of the bank within the NES's memory. For instance, Zelda uses 16K bankswitching, with the last bank as the fixed bank. Any bank besides the last one would be mapped in at 8000. So something at 0x6565 in th...

trying to make this code work for zelda..

alright maybe i'm being dumb... but i can't seem to get this code working :? other then if i change the value in the rom file.. or use the cheat tool in fce.. what it should do is give you 255 ruby's from picking up just 1 any help would be good here what i got game writes ruby's to ram address $066...

The biggest differences I found are the use of 74LSXXX and 74HCXXX ICs And the missing 4Mhz CIC. Not really sure what the part is called? Ceramic Resonator? I am leaning toward the 74XXXXX ICs. This is a lie, the game genie works perfectly on PAL. it's only a misconception... lies are deliberate :) Unless there are different versions of the GG for PAL and NTSC maybe because i've heard reports of it not working or not working correctly anyway... i don't have PAL so i was going by ear :) ne...

they should have an "old tv emulation" setting of some kind channels that aren't HD look like crap... would only cost them a couple bucks to add that feature :) but why would they when its HD? they just want your DVD's. in the trash and all tv/movies/video games in HD... on the bright side...
