NTSC is great for racing games, or anything that requires a decent framerate. Now I haven't seen a real PAL CRT in about 5 years (when I was about 12), but I've torrented a decent amount of BBC EDTV programming to know what the flicker of 50Hz looks like. It's only noticeable when there's serious mo...

Now you're just making up excuses. They don't flicker because... 1) it's easier to program a video emulation driver that doesn't emulate the PPU to the point of artifacts such as that, &... 2) Nintendo is ALOT bigger, which means more flickering = more seizure lawsuits. That's why you get the wa...

Peppers poses an interesting idea! You can simply get some of those pushbutton switches (I forget what they're called) & connect it to the +5V on each connector! That could be slow enough for BRK to $0000 to be initiated!

Can anyone here confirm if this will work?

It's simpler than is seems. A generic ROM's majority of pins can be divided up into 2 different areas: Address & Data (A & D, Add & Dat, etc). The NES decides what it wants to look at on Address pins, & it receives the data from said address on the Data pins. The NES has generally 2 ...

I'm pretty sure the admins can set a resolution limit on avatars. My forum's db got corrupt somehow & I've been too lazy to fix it since I get slow traffic, so I can't check to say w/ complete certainty...

Well the dev team is a slow as a bus full of retards trying to comprehend quantum physics (AKA they *still* haven't released the firmware upgrade fixing the audio streaming bug), but other than that I think it's good for it's money.

I got my Wii on day 1, about 8:30AM if I remember correctly. Got it modded w/ a Wiikey. I'm not the one who modded it, but looking at the diagrams you probably barely even need a short length of wire! (at least on an older Wii)

Repairing Super Mario Bros. 2 (US)

I polished the connectors, I melted the cartridge open (which is pretty painstaking for someone who collects vintage videogames), I even tried quickly holding an open flame under the connectors & polishing them again! Still the same crap: Non-blinking blueish-green screen of death. This is a TRO...

Sounds like your battery is dying. If they're rechargable AA's consider buying new ones.
