According to boo the pal version is different. Also to his advice I check the prg rom version. It's nes-ki-1 prg. According to boo it's undumped.....

Ya that was a typo I mean to type: vconsole. Anyway I guess that could be it. But that means my rom ISN'T just an NTSC rom with a pal lockout. Like bregalad said. Cause the passwords are different.

ya but according to all the news when the vconsole version came out they had a special chip in the cart that does the passwords. Thats why all the old passwords didn't work on the vc console.

well I just refurbed those a few days ago. I have ZERO grafical glitches (wel one or two but those are just from scrolling)

edit: also the passwords I get IN GAME work. Just not the internet ones. (none)

I entered this: "KidKid Icarus KidKid Icarus" (wich worked in the emulator)

Nope real deal. Pal nes. I'm 100% sure I entered the code correctly.

I've got an european version of K.I. however the passwords on the internet (kidkidicarus kidkidicarus) arent' working. Is this because it's pal?

Well start by learning some basic asm commands. Then make the backround a color. (coughmybackroundcolordemocough) Then make a sprite on the screen. Work from there.
