Re: Pcb manufacturers in China
What makes it spam? It appears on-topic, unlike (say) posts advertising ED pills. Look at the user's post history. The only reason he seems to have joined is to post links to his (company's) pcb service. At best these reviews are gonna be heavily biased. Or to look at it in other terms, if they wan...

Re: Future of Nintendo?
Well for my TV speakers, it certainly wasn't the cost of mechanical buttons, because it uses something that's kind of like a touch screen but it doesn't display anything. I don't know how it works, but I can sure bet that that's a whole lot more expensive then real buttons! Actually often having to...

Re: I'd really like to have someone pick apart my character
One thing that immediately stood out to me is that everything seems to be a bit "stiff". I'm not very good at these things, so the best example I can give of this is the bunny girls ears. They just stick straight up. A bit of "slack" in them would make it all appear a bit more na...

Re: Different colors every time I load some Famicom Disk gam
The hi-def NES intercepts the palette writes. It seems that perhaps somehow these writes are not being properly intercepted.
Hard to tell exactly what could be wrong (perhaps a broken mux) without a schematic of the hi-def NES or something like that though.

Re: Is it possible to brick a NES cartridge by input alone?
The PPU master/slave bit is supposedly directly connected to either ground or power (I can't remember). And doesn't use a pull up/down resistor. In theory setting the bit wrong will cause that output to short circuit, which is bad. (excess heat, damaging the output, or potentially even the chip)

I wouldn't say there's one "sure" way. But typically by doing the best you can. If you help a lot of people, and write/make interesting things, eventually people tend to take notice.

Get over yourself, I don't even know who "dragonboy" is. (apparently it's you)psycopathicteen wrote:There we go again.
Jeroen wants to start a flame war with me, just because I'm dragonboy.

Please keep this garbage off the forums.
Maybe we should start banning for this crap. With the other user constantly harassing a user on this forum because of something that happened on another forum.

Re: Shop with good blank NES cartridge cases
I know that the cases from RetroUSB have a very high quality. They aren't. The case of my PowerPak broke, even though I was not handling it brutally. Unfortunately, they don't sell blank cases. I'm pretty sure at some point they did. Maybe they don't do it anymore ? So one of your cases broke and y...

Re: Hi-Def NES HDMI Adapter for the NES
I wasn't trying to give you flake or anything. :P But I was pointing out that as far as one can test, Kevtris' kit complies with the HDMI standard. (according to expensive test gear) So there's not much that can be done about one monitor not working I think. (plus it could be a cable or something to!)

Re: Hi-Def NES HDMI Adapter for the NES
Considering kevtris made a whole video of him testing the thing with a HDMI compliancy tester. I think your monitor is probably an exception.
