Arrgh, not the Ninja Gaiden arcade game! That game is a disgrace to the franchise. It's even worse than the PC-Engine version. Data East used to make some pretty ugly games in general (but they could still be fun to play). Except for Magical Drop III - which has pretty decent graphics - most of the...

Awesome, thanks everyone for the information. I ordered a new cable from monoprice.com since they have the ones i'm looking for, for a good price.
Hopefully this time it works :)

I'm not too sure. The packaging just says "Moulded 10ft. Bi-directional Parallel Link cable (Interlink)". I just turned it on holding down different combinations. Either I get the 3-2-1 countdown and it plays the cart, or anything involving R just gives me that menu. According to the manua...

Sending with uCON64 and Parallel

Hey guys, I have got a GD7, a Standard Bi-Directional 10ft Parallel Cable, and an old Toshiba Laptop. The laptop is running Windows 98SE with all the drivers for it. I have followed everything here for the guide: http://gamedoctor-sf6.blogspot.com When I go to use it, I never get the screen on my GD...

Best Place Online to buy Floppy Disks

Hey guys,
Just looking for packs of new floppy disks. Every time I find any online they are very very expensive.
Anyone have any sites or ideas?

SPC players for real hardware

I'm trying to find some software that will load SPC files from UCON64.
I'm not sure if it's possible to do that, and if not, is there a way to compile a ROM to read multiple SPC files?

I have to build a new PC just for my GD7 now because I just upgraded my motherboard, and it has no parallel port. I just noticed that, but that's fine, gives me an excuse to load Windows 98SE onto an old 3GHz SingleCore with 512MB of RAM. That beast will load up fast, and do a good job of using UCON...

Okay well I'm just going to skip using Floppy disks. Trying to find a parallel cable in my town is almost impossible. People at Walmart and Canadian Tire looked at me like I was crazy :P I'm going to visit an old computer store very soon to grab one of these cables because I think they would have on...

Hey I don't mean to revive a dead thread, but this is what seems to be happening with me. Inside of Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and Windows XP x86 SP3 the floppy disk comes up okay, but when I put it into my GD7 it comes up and says Disk Error. Now this is the stock drive that's inside of it. Does it hav...

I am using unmodified SMS and MD1 adaptors on my SNES and so far I have not had any problems, but there is one problem which is that SMES has the center pole slightly thicker on the adapter input so not all bricks will fit in. Really? I own a Sega Master System and a Genesis Model 1, and I would tr...

Oh I see, so this won't work at all huh?
How can you tell if it's AC to DC or what not? Does it say right on the adapter?
Also how do those "Universal" adapters work? (The one that I bought incase I don't find a Nintendo Branded one that's affordable)
