 This whole thread is a joke, right? I hope not. I really want to see this new emu that is better than nestopia. I already lost 3 boxes to testing it. I've only got 25 more at our DR site left. Then I suppose I'll have to start testing in production. They get kinda pissy when I do that. Hurr...

Something must be wrong. I'm testing your perl and qbasic code on my linux box. I was stupid and ran it as root, there was a shitload of disk activity, and now my kernel panicked. :( Please send help fast.

The only one who looks aging is Memblers, but I'd expect that. :-) I was actually surprised he didn't have a Richard Stallman-esque beard and long hair (I think I remember him having such in an older photo...?) He has very long hair, you just can't see it behind him. It stops maybe a foot above his...

Hey nesdev guys, it was nice meeting all of you at MGC. Really great set of demos. I'm the n64dev guy who was constantly trying to sell marshall's cart to the passersby :) We took a group photo of everyone from the nesdev + n64dev teams (except udisi, who had to manage his vendor exhibit). Let me k...

qbradq, your system for embedding TAS type inputs is pretty slick. I plan to put this into my Yars' Revenge clone, to spice up my "attract mode" (but for both controllers, as my attract mode demos the two-player coop mode).

Thank you for your excellent contribution to the nesdev community.

So it's over now right? How was it? Clueless: contact me trough pm. We seem to be just missing each other. Yup. Saturday was the busy day. Sunday was less so. The event was supposed to run until 5pm Sunday, but traffic really died down after 3pm. At 3pm I packed up my stuff. Memblers + big_jt had t...

Deadline is too tight guys, sorry. I have just a couple hours every night for personal stuff, there's no way I can do something decent in just two days (and I even tried tonight, but... there's just no time). I'd need at least a week. Ok. I understand. However, I'm not looking for a rock-star poste...

Gradualore,

Would you like us to demo your game at the MGC? We'll have a few powerpaks and we will nuke your ROM image when done. It probably isn't feasible to show your entire game. Do you have a build that contains just the first level?

The max poster size is 24" x 36". They need 600 DPI images, which is huge at this size. I suppose I can bring in something that it a lower DPI and they can scale it up. I'm sure they can scale it up, but if they require 600 DPI that's probably what it takes for it to look decent. I'll pro...

You won't like this. They're all single-screen games. Don't worry, I was kinda expecting that. Just for the record, I don't find single-screen games necessarily bad, but since 95% of NES homebrews are like that I think it was time we explored other things, possibly more interesting technically, you...

MGC 2011 Nesdev homebrew exhibit

Hello everyone, I posted this help request on Nintendoage.com a few minutes ago. I'm posting here too, for those of you that read this site but not the other. I'm seeking help with some artwork for physical media (posters and possibly handouts / fliers). http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview....
