Wow he got SDRAM working, the latency is so long it would never finish reading in time. Cybertron do you have any flash carts and programmers in stock? and do you have any ETA on the SD cart? Im very interested in one of those! Well the flash carts are sold out and I have to order some more boards. ...

Do you expect me to design, test, manufacture and sell PCBs for free? Do you know how expensive electronics are in small quantities? I basically paid a few thousand dollars out of my own pocket until some sales came in and probably just broke even. That being said the flash cart is not for everyone,...

I don't have a tototek cart so I can't really look at it. I gave the code to some people so they could port/debug the tototek support from uCON64 but no one seems to have made any progress. Apparently it enters a weird mode for programming where it is mapped differently. Maybe one day someone will m...

Your game is LOROM, so A15 on the cart is ignored. BA0 goes to ROM A15, BA1 -> ROM A16 and so on

OE means Ouput Enable and is the same as RD for read

Your wires are fine, it looks like a really clean way of doing it

Find a pinout of the EPROM chip, and of the SNES edge connector. Then use a multimeter to make sure every pin matches and goes where it should

I just received my programmer and I'm going to do a mini review from a dumper standpoint. Pros ----- -Uses USB interface for power and transfer. No dicking with EPP/ECP BIOS settings, no slow transfers, and guaranteed to work on new motherboards. -Dumps almost any game quickly and reliably in mere ...

A lot of PAL games also use different game code too, for the different screen size and refresh rate. So basically they are totally incompatible unless you mod the system. I think importing is big in Europe since they always get games after the North American market :( mark_k, Just cheap sports games...

Memblers,
Its easy to replace the ROM chip with a flash chip. But this only goes to 512kB unless you build an adapter for a larger one.

If you connect the Write signal to the flash you can reprogram it in the cart easily. The snesflash program would have to be updated tho.

Wanted: PAL carts

PAL carts are very rare in Canada. I managed to score 3, but they were very expensive.

Does anyone have any good leads for PAL carts that are cheap (around $5)?

Thanks :) The boards have actually been sitting around since January, but its taken forever to make a finished product. I have been busy with work, and my friend (who runs the website) has been busy with grad school, etc I can defiantly make a new run of boards. They kept all the masks and stencils ...

The carts come with the original stock label. But they have a new end label so you know what it is.

I am having a hard time getting PAL carts, but if you want SFC style I can use a Japanese cart.

I think I found a 32KB FeRAM type chip, but availability is always a problem for obsolete parts.
