Re: .SND files
I happen to have one in this archive: http://www.chrismcovell.com/data/SNDSplit.zip Also, there are some on .D64 disks with my old, old NESSIDPlay C64 program: http://www.chrismcovell.com/data/NESSIDPlay.zip Thanks a lot! This is almost everything I wanted and they are not only clean, but they are ...

Re: community fonts for NES Dev
I was working on a font earlier for an NES game and decided that I would share it with the community for anyone who could put it to use in their own NES creations, and to encourage others to share their own fonts. If anyone would like to use this font or share a creation of their own, please feel f...

.SND files
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this thread, but it is related to NES music, so I'll try it. Anyway, I need some NES music in Marat Fayzullin's .SND format for an thing I'm trying and was wondering if anyone would provide me with a link to download some through PM or something. I kind ...

Re: backlight the gb
(Darn double posts) Well, I did manage to get a SBG CPU in my GB, but I cooked it when I was trying to remove it. That damn solder just wouldn't melt! XD Oh well, it's not a big deal for now and it isn't a complete waste considering I can still use the port from it in a programmer or something and t...

Re: backlight the gb
One thing I'm eventually going to do is swap the cpu with one from a super Gameboy. An smt IC with eighty legs and a pitch that tight is probably a project a bit too risky for the tools I've been using. I'll probably need access to a proper soldering station and maybe a hot air rework station. Up to...

Re: backlight the gb
It's been awhile. How have you all been? Anyway, I finally got around to modding this thing! There's a few things I've done with it, but I guess I'll talk about what I have pictures of. http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/8394/730017747.jpg I did the "Prosound mod" and did an ugly job reinf...

Ransomware strikes back!
Well, My grandmother managed to catch ransomware, Again.
(Seriously, I don't know what she does to get it.)
This time it's Personal AV.
What measures should I take to rid it this time?
And protect against it. Fix it utilities doesn't seem to be doing shit for her.

Is it "379" that's unlucky?
Or is it "479"?
I'm no good with Japanese, so I can't remember.
Edit: Tepples, can you delete this thread when I get the answer? I think it's kind of offensive with the death and suffering and all...

ironfist61: Do you also plan to use this display with a home theater PC, or only for disc-based movie players and locked-down game consoles? I plan on using it with a PC. the real problem is how they deal with the old analog signals, this is where the real difference is! That's why I'll have my nes...

What are the best TV's or displays currently?
What are the best Displays for modern hardware, such as wii, ps3, 360 or blu-ray player, preferably one that has plenty of HDMI and componet inputs and is around 32". The highest price doesn't necessarly mean best as I'm sure you are all aware, and I don't want one that's most popular neither. ...
