I think a video game is a complex compilation of various art forms. (Please don't bring up the argument "are video games an art", that's not the point) Also, Sorry for double posting. I did this for context. Edit: I guess one way to burn me is to say Nintendo manufactured many toys back in...

a football is most definatly a toy LOL, then those sports stars are getting paid millions of dollars for playing with a toy. (The really do get paid too much.) And it sucks that people have riots 'cause of that stuff. Back on the VGs. I believe it is degrading to call video games "toys" I...

Oh one of my gratest favorites (More of a tone then a song) The song it plays on Donkey Kong when you die. At least it's the one I mostly refer to. The Skate or Die opening theme Shit, I found both pretty bad. For a moment I wasn't sure if I was reading the topic of best songs or the one of worst so...

Dang, Is there a better way I could be using it?

Is there a better way I could be using it. I usually utilize a microfiber cloth and toothbrush.

Thanks.

The Skate or Die opening theme NES http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zpi4H_UvtI C64 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqRXxPl6bXA I think I like The NES version Best. But I respect the C64 vesion more. This title screen is a pretty accurate port. However this song isn't my favorite. It's hard to decide ...

Why Aren't they called "Video Toys"

A video game is something outher than a toy? I would have to say "Yes" I'll list give some thought as to why I chose this answer. First I'll ask a question, "Is a 'game' a toy?" as in "football" or "monopoly". You do play sports, but you don't play with it as...

Best way to clean a mobo?

What is the best way to clean a mother board besides that crappy compressed air ? When I was younger (probbably like 10 or something) my Grandmother told me that she used isopropyl alcohol to clean PCB when she worked for Midway. (LOL. Before she told me that, I was using water, In fact, when she to...

What hardware does the zapper contain anyway? I haven't used one in years and was wondering.

Does it have a photoresistor or an accelerometer, or something completely different?

Re: Broken Wii and DS for sale

Hey guys, I have a broken Wii and Nintendo DS Phat for sale: * The Wii does not have video anymore due to a thunderstorm and the power supply is shot. There are several VC games on the WiiShop account as well as some possible left over Shop Points. * The Nintendo DS does not charge from the chargin...

Doesn't team Twiizers have a key to unbrick the Wii? If I can get the mechanisms all worked out I'll have two Wii's. One for modding and one for Playing Wii titles that I don't have to worry about updates with. I really Liked the Wii homebrew. Had some pretty decent emulators and software. Hmm, I ju...

Well, Killed my Wii.

I disassembled my Wii yesterday. Couldn't get the damn thing back together. This is one compact system. I bought a new Wii today but, does anyone have a link to some teardown guides? This has got to be the most complex assembly I have ever torn down. Also, more damage before that was caused by the u...

Yeah. I've seen that in the past. Wasn't too interested. Especially since it involves removing my LED. Wich would make me very sad. Anyway, I guess I'll just go trace the board and look for some solderpoints myself. Anyone got specs on the DS inverter? I just wonder if it will supply enough voltage....
