Re: dip 32 SHVC-1A3B, is there a compatible dip 36 alternati

On a similar issue but this time with a 2 chip version of the same board but controlled by a MAD-1, How would I go about placing A20 (shifted from A19 on a 27c160 in 8bit mode) if I want to use a single chip on this 2a3M (2 chips, 8meg on the first, 4meg on the second pic below) if it's controlled b...

Re: 27c160 to 36 pin SNES bus daughter PCB's avalible

And this is another way too. Except the roms can be socketed for easy swapping. And it all fits in the cart shell too. Can be 1,2,3 or 4 mbytes. 3 or 4 - the roms would have to be stacked. Yeah, but those PCB's will cost a lot more due to their large size... True, but none can be socketed except th...

27c160 to 36 pin mask rom daughter pcbs available

This is a cross posting from the SNESdev forum for those that don't check that section, pardon the shamless plug. A friend and I got these boards made up to make 2MB games alot easier to build so you don't have to have a zillion wires all over the place. Just burn your your 27c160 drop it in this ba...

Re: 27c160 to 36 pin SNES bus daughter PCB's avalible

Here's another option for 2MB and it uses new, in-production parts rather than obsolete EPROMs, though the tradeoff is that it requires surface-mount soldering abilities... And a TSOP adapter for your programmer (which I don't have). With 27c160's being so cheap and readily available I got this boa...

27c160 to 36 pin SNES bus daughter PCB's avalible

Hey All, A friend and I got these boards made up to make 2MB games alot easier to build so you don't have to have a zillion wires all over the place. Just burn your your 27c160 drop it in this bad boy and solider it onto your choice snes pcb. Saves alot of time and hassle and makes a much cleaner fi...

And any picture?

Yep, I'll get some done up and post them later. It's from a Doki Doki Panic pirate cart.

Re: Punch Out Cartridge have only TTLs instead of MMC2!

Interesting... sometimes we see pirate carts with discrete logic implementations of moderately complex mappers. I believe we've seen one more complex than the MMC2, but I don't remember which one. 28pins EPROMs like 27C512 can only contain up to 64KB Nintendo has always used 28-pin 128KB mask ROMs ...

Re: Super Scope to Justifier ROM hack, is it possible?

The Super Scope and the Justifier register "hits" from the scanlines on the screen totally differently, plus the super scope has 2 more buttons that the Justifier does not. I had the same dream at one point and then, as I am telling you now, I had it explained to me it wasn't a dream it's ...

OK so which one of these schematics is correct?
I see tons of different info in this thread and
alot of pictures. I just want to make sure I'm
gonna follow one that when I print it out it
will be correct. Thanks in advance.

Re: Help needed: Rockman 6-in-1 multicart hardware

I don't understand how it wouldn't be cost effective as it's still gonna use the exact same amount of chips no matter what and you don't need to to use tsop adapters if you stick to a 27c160 in 8bit mode. It would just be nice to not have to make a rats nest of wires and chips to get it done is all...

Re: Help needed: Rockman 6-in-1 multicart hardware

I don't think there will ever be a PCB available because it's not cost effective. The best way is to use adapters. TSOP and SO chips are not expensive and after that use wires. I still didn't solved the audio issue in megaman 2. FARID teste it on a famiclone, maybe doesn't work right on an original...
