Re: Working copy of Galaxian and\or Space Invaders?
All the galaxians I find have a bad header, same goes for space invaders. I believe some emulators have header editors that can strip the "DiskDude!" bullshit, and I seem to remember that more recent GoodNES versions can as well. Can anyone point me in the general direction to a site that...

Working copy of Galaxian and\or Space Invaders?
Hey, All the galaxians I find have a bad header, same goes for space invaders. Can anyone point me in the general direction to a site that has working copies of said games? Not asking for direct link to a ROM as that would be a no no of course. I just want to get ahold of images that are gonna work ...

I don't have the PCB, but seeing the info on Kevtris page it seems like a clone to SNROM. Very likely the ROM pinouts are 27Cxxx compatible and not the Nintendo funky pinout. If you have done rewiring that may have broken the thing. Sweet, looks like I'll just remove the wire job and try that! Than...

SN1 exact same as SNROM? And another PCB question.
Hey, Is the Virgin clone board SN1 the exact same as SNROM? I'm wondering as I took the board out of a copy of overlord to make a FF2j cart and all I'm getting is a flat black screen and I've made many FF2j carts so I was thinking maybe there is some small difference that is making it not work perha...

NROM running CNROM code without a 74HC161 ?
Hey,
Is it possible to rewire an NROM board without adding a 161 to make it be able to run CNROM code? If so anyone care to share the info?
Thanks In Advance!

Anything besides punchout use MMC2?
Hey,
Does any other game use the PNROM MMC2 aside from punchout? I've looked and it seems to be the only one.

MHROM ?
Hey,
What can the MHROM smb\DH boards be used for? As in is it compatible with say CNROM or NROM by any chance? I got my hands on a couple
prom chiped smb\dh boards and I would like to put them to use. It was kinda neat coming across them as sooooo many are epoxy drops.
Cheers,
Shawn

Yeah apparently there is a cartridge form of it as well. I have a nice hi-res scan of the PCB that I received a while back from someone who owned one. You can check it out here Is this a Doki Doki cart or SMB2j? My Doki Doki cart didn't look anything like that. No where near as much logic on the bo...

Making SMB2j with a 4mb (PGM) & 32k (CHR doubled up) epr
Hey,
So I got the PGM burned to a 27c040 and it's wired up fine. The CHR is only 8k and I doubled it up to 32k and burned it to a 27c256 but I'm unsure of how to wire the 27c256 as the CHR on this MMC3 board. Any help would be great.
Thanks!!
