Re: Anyone Interested in a Combined NES + Gameboy Cart?
It is quite possible that kevtris has lost interest in this project given the overwhelmingly positive response to his Zimba 3000 console on AtariAge. Zimba 3000 was taking priority last time I talked to him but the NES cart is still an active project, even if it's been put to the back burner. I tol...

Re: Atari 2600 F8 bankswitch cart
Yes the bankswitching logic on atari carts for the most part is in the rom chip. Some 3rd parties had TTL logic controlling the banking like telegames if you have access to any of those carts. Watch it though as sometimes the banks are reversed on those compaired to conventional atari banks so bank ...

Re: Anyone have the wiring for m27c160 chips
Just wondering if I should even bother wasting my time using these chips on snes carts? With 27c160's? They are the only way you will get more than 1mb with a single chip unless you use TSOP. 27c160's are great cause all you have to do is shift over 1 address line and use D15 as A0. D0-D7 are used ...

There's certainly a place for the donors .... Like the no SRAM, basic pcb that just has 1 rom. But if you game requires SRAM, mine is a pretty good alternative.

Re: Markfrizb's new SNES pcb's, you need them now!!
Might be good for a dev board or test board, but I don't see these replacing sports games/Japanese horse racing games as donors. First of all, I get a free shell for each game with the purchase of my crappy 4 for $9 deals from Ebay. If you can get 4 for $9 I'd love it if you shared these deals :) E...
