Markfrizb's new SNES pcb's, you need them now!!
Hey Guys, I just wanted to give a quick shout out to Mark's new SNES pcbs. These things are like a swiss army knife SNES board. They can do pretty much any game, multigame, hi\low\ex, combos, all the logic is built right on the board so there is no messing around adding 245's or 139's or SRAM cause ...

Re: 29L3211 on Sega Genesis/Mega Drive 16bit
I get sick of using 27C322 (4MB) EPROMs and erasing them all the time when I want to program something else, not to mention they mostly fail to erase themselves.... That is why I ask you if I can somehow use a MX29L3211 chip on Sega Genesis?? There are some SOP44->DIP44 adapters available here: htt...

Re: SNES console problem
You should measure your regulator output after it hangs up. Might be heat related so you should also feel the chips for being too hot... Maybe a bad cap on the power section..... Maybe your power brick is failing too. After all these, it could be anything... Hope this helps. The regulator is gonna ...

SNES console problem
Hey, Thought this would be the best forum for this. I have a super nintendo that previously worked fine but now when you start up a cartridge it plays for about a minute then the graphics get all garbled and it hangs\crashes. I have no clue what could be wrong. I thought it might be the voltage regu...

Re: Brand new SNES and Genesis pcbs available
There are new NES repro boards available over on NintendoAge. MMC1, MMC3 and the discrete mappers (UOROM, AOROM, CNROM, etc). Also has a new SNES repro board capable of playing most games, including Star Ocean! Can also handle games that require 256K SRAM. See the links in the first post :) So just...

Re: Any interest in 27c322 cart mod pcb's?
The pcb's have arrived. I've tested a random 10 and they work! So now I need to do a write up and a how-to-use it (although some of the videos will show some of that) I am leaving for vacation tomorrow (Saturday) so I won't be able to ship until I get back. I have 200 pcb's total but I only plan on...

Desolder it just maybe?Ice Man wrote:That'll work too, except I soldered the game already.
Most likely will remove the MMC3 chip and connect the address and data pins there to make it NROM compatible.

Yep exactly like thatIce Man wrote:They always did. You only have to add the battery connected to diodes, resistors and capacitors. Not hard at all.

Re: Battery Backup
I think the OP means adding the battery circuit so the SRAM keeps the save data buy using a pair of diodes, a resistor and a cap. If he was able to google how to build his repro's he should also be able to google the battery circuit. Hell I think it's even on this forum somewhere.
