Re: Can I use a SHVC-1J3M-11 board to make Crimson Echoes?
First of all, as far as I know Crimson Echoes is 6MB in total, so you'll have to use 29F032 (4MB) + 29F016 (2MB). It is possible but the 2nd rom should be attached on the back and /OE pins have to be connected to pins #01 and #16 on MAD-1. It is possible but requires some extra work and experience

Re: Can I use a TSOP to make 8 megabit LoRom repros? (SNES)
What I showed you above is actually not the pinout of your TSOP memory but rather pinout of that TSOP->DIP adapter and it presents the final rearranged DIP36 pinout. This is the entire point of this- adapter , it's supposed to rearrange the pins from memory to specific places where SNES expects them...

The pinout of your memory matches mine so the above instructions I provided to you should do the job

Re: INL Board - Earthbound German Patch
Too little information. What board is it?? Any photos?? What patch are you applying on the rom?? What memories are you using?? As long as I'm concerned, games exceeding 4MB size are considered ExHIROM games and I'm ASSUMING the ROMs' /OE pins are connected wrong to the MAD-1 on the board since in ca...

Re: Can I use a TSOP to make 8 megabit LoRom repros? (SNES)
Basically the TSOP40-DIP36 adapter was intended to use for SNES so the pinout is the same as mask ROMs on the board. It looks exactly like this: http://i.imgur.com/JQUiG29.png Well in your case if you're using 29F016, it looks more like this: http://i.imgur.com/hAaJsMX.png So if you want to use it a...

Re: Tales of Phantasia on BJ3M?
Mine is done this way: -MAD-1 (pin #13, chip only) goes to SNES CON. pin #48 -MAD-1 (pin #12) goes to SNES CON. pin #47 -A21 (first ROM) goes to SNES CON. pin #46 Also keep in mind that Tales of Phantasia is an EXHIROM game and thus /OE of the first and second ROM have to be swapped together on MAD-...

If you test it on TG16, the search for its exact pinout, there may be more differences than that

Re: TG16 ext port to 29f016
I do agree this project sounds very interesting but what exactly is it supposed to do?? Should this memory work as read-only-memory for TG16 or should it work like a pendrive for TG16?? Also, what machine are you planning to use?? Since I see some differences between these 2... As long as I can see,...

Re: Famicom TXROM PCB reproduction
Are you really this desperate about the price?? A 27C322 may be cheaper, OK but when you really compare the prices, 27C322 is about 2$ a piece while 27C080 is about 3-4$ at most but 27C080 is MUCH shorter (32pins instead of 42) so you save much more space on board and you save much more time for you...
