What distro are you thinking of going with? I would suggest Debian Testing as it is very stable despite the name and has huge software repos and is not bloated like Ubuntu (back when I used 7.04 it was).

The last band on a resistor doesn't really matter. The last colour on a 4 or 5 band resistor(most common) are the tolerance values. Get gold for 4 band and brown or red for 5 (1% and 2%). Replacing GBA speaker

Replacing my mates GBA speaker (crackles). Would a 0.25W 8ohm speaker work (that fits) work? Or better yet does anyone know what speaker actually goes there(Haven't been able to find)?

I'll try it out now. Thanks for the update bunnyboy On trying it out it doesn't even work for me. Gets to the screen were it tells you what version the ROM and CARD version are. A couple of times it gave me a "L0 fatal card error"(When I reset the NES). Can you post a MD5sum of the archive...
