Re: Easy to use NES Audio Editor for beginners

That's hideous and disgusting! edit: wait, your username (zvfccfsm) looks very randomly generated, and is not consistent with the username given in the program's title (RavJ), are you a spam bot or a real person? Why was it hideous and disgusting? Don't just insult the guy and leave... we forum lur...

Not bad! I could see this being used in a Balloon Fight/Balloon Kid sequel.

Sorry for the late response!

Whoops, I meant the intro. Minus the ambience at the beginning, of course. :)

Re: The difference between FPGA and NOAC

Thanks, lidnariq, tepples. My only question now is why are FPGAs inherently more expensive (at least that's what I've heard) than NOACs? I still don't understand why they are better for low volume. Whether he sells a thousand or ten thousand, wouldn't a well-designed NOAC be much less cost prohibiti...

Re: My NSF Covers

Remember those realistic waves from that racing game for the 64 ? Here's my attempt at making it 8-bit. Yahoo! :P https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdJxlsLs3zE I think that might sound more beautiful and serene than the original, actually...great job! Would you consider doing any songs from Star Fox ...

The difference between FPGA and NOAC

I *think* I have a decent understanding of what an NOAC is and how it works. At least, I've witnessed how awful they can be, as I was one of the fools who bought a Generation NEX early on only to see it fizzle when I tried to use a Game Genie with it. And I know from lurking here and other NES forum...

Re: Generation NEX wireless issues

Hey, first time posting but I've searched the internet far and wide and it doesn't seem like anyone else is having this issue. I purchased both brand new wireless Messiah NEX controller, and arcade stick along with my Generation NEX (Used) The NEX is in great shape, doesn't look like it was used at...

BUT--after a bit of searching, I found the Everdrive-MD Deluxe Edition: http://stoneagegamer.com/everdrive_deluxe.aspx According to the website, its Rev. 2.5. Is that the latest version, or would I have to order the PCB to get the newest one? What I don't get about that site is that they have Firmw...

I'm not too keen on the idea of having to supply my own MD cartridge, or cutting a hole for the SD card for that matter. :P BUT--after a bit of searching, I found the Everdrive-MD Deluxe Edition: http://stoneagegamer.com/everdrive_deluxe.aspx According to the website, its Rev. 2.5. Wow, I didn't think I get such a quick response! Nor did I expect there to actually be any decent , non-parallel port SEGA flashcarts. Sweet! So it looks like its a toss up between Everdrive and Neomyth. But is there anyone here with experience in dealing with either product that could tell me which...

Genesis flashcart

Are any Genesis flash carts currently in production? I remember reading about one a long time ago that was rather clunky looking, could only hold a few games, and had a parallel port in the back for the connecting it to a PC. It would be nice have something more along the lines of the user-friendly ...

Their site says it's powerful enough, I just think nobody has taken enough time over these specific mappers. The FPGA can do whatever you program it to do with the mapper files, and can emulate multiple chips and expansions, they just don't have the extra sounds created yet. Or shall I say, loopy d...
