You could always replace the electrolytic caps with tantalums. Tantalum caps are much more resistant to heat.

Is there a Zelda NSF with the boss DMC sounds?

I've looked but I can't seem to find an NSF with the boss DMC sounds.

I'd be happy with good digital samples (in WAV/MP3) as well.

Request:

Title music from Nintendo M82 store kiosk.

I'm pretty sure it was done by Hip Tanaka, because it sounds a LOT like Kid Icarus.

I actually removed an edge connector pin from an old motherboard for an ISA slot, straighted it and superglued it to the TKROM PCB.

Here are some pictures of the cart I made:

Got a 42" 720p Panasonic Plasma and it displays everything I can throw at it. Composite, Component, S-video all in 240p, no problem. Was made in 2009. I think the higher end sets seem to have better circuitry than the cheaper models. Oh, It also seems to handle NTSC @ 50hz, and a PAL encoded si...

Cave Story is amazing

Wow, just played through Cave Story on Wii.

One of the best modern games I've played, haven't been glued to the screen like that in a long time.

Fairly hard, no long tedious cut scenes, great controls, fast action, good stuff.

Are there any other games like this I'm missing out on?

I agree, Mega Man 9's music was actually pretty decent, while Mega Man 10 is just bad.

I have a spot for Mega Man 7's music though, especially the Cloud Man and Burst Man stage's.

If you have a home depot near by you can get a cheap-o battery powered one for about $3-5. It has a simple switching transistor with a step up transistor. or You could sacrifice a 3V and 12V wall wart (AC adapter) and remove the transformers. Remove the transformers from their plastic cases and remo...

Ah Tetrisphere... I have very fond memories of that game. At the time it seemed like the N64 was turning into an awesome system with games like Mario64, Blast Corps, Waverace 64, Turok, Starfox 64, Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye, and Tetrisphere. It almost seemed like it might surpass the SNES, then game ...
