CHR ROM to CHR RAM (SRAM) question
I have another question that probably was answered many times, but searching through the forum only took me to his site: http://nintendoallstars.w.interia.pl/romlab/crom2cram.htm which explains the TSROM to TGROM/TNROM. I want to change the SLROM to SGROM, change the 32 pin 128kb CHR ROM chip to 8kb...

Yes, if it wasn't so expensive. It's a shame that the older (parallel port) version isn't available any longer. I need only the PCB (or at least schematics - better than these) and the R6522AP (6522 port chip) of it if somebody has it, the rest I can build/supply myself.

Pirate mapper 221
I was wondering if somebody here has some info on mapper 221. I found a cartridge inside one of my famiclones and dumped the rom. Here's the cartridge: http://jpx72.detailne.sk/modd_files/fc/front.jpg http://jpx72.detailne.sk/modd_files/fc/back.jpg Then I found a simillar rom "700-in-1" (g...

Help dumping a pirate
Hello, I am trying to dump a pirate cartridge that came with a keyboard famiclone, containing some keyboard software and a couple of small games. But the only way I can do this is by reading the ROMs with my eprom reader. I can change the pinout at will (homemade adapter) but I must set a standard e...

Newer thought of selling any botlegs. Until now ... just kidding. I collect games just for myself. I have read many topics about why not destroy games to make other games. Simillar to that are people that buy Sonic and Knuckles cart just to rip out the connector for their Radica mod. But ok, I will ...

What's not fascinating for you doesn't mean it isn't fascinating for everybody! Even basic soldering for unexperienced user can be fun. Were you born with such knowledge? Geez. You think I am just an ignorant to old stuff? Have you seen my collection? Bigger part of it comes literally out of garbage...

I haven't found Contra cartridge for less than cca 30USD (shipping incl.). GGG cost me 3€ and I have eproms for free. It's a big difference for me. I can send the original roms to anybody for the postage cost if that means something. But I like to keep those if I ever want to revert the conversion p...
