If you reread: The cartridge needs 2048kB for PRG and 512kB for CHR. CHR won't be hard to add, since 27C401 will be okay for that, but PRG is harder, and since my EPROM programmer is not capable of burning EPROMs with more than 32 pins, it would be best if the PRG ROM gets splitted in even+odd parts...

Yes I'm aware of the wrong optimisation in those games, but I am used to the speed from my childhood since I was born in Europe, so I like that.

To the other part of your answer - may I ask somebody for help with that? Finding the mechanics of those patches and translate them to European Roms?

Can somebody help me with "ironing" the wav file recorded by Tapedump? I'm getting great results when the recording time is less than 1 hour, but at larger files, I'm getting decoding errors when using KCS to decode the wav file. I have done everything humanly possible to perfect my record...
