Where can I find this program? I know it is integrated with the SNES rom utility, but where can I find it as a stand alone program?

If all u really want is ff3 why not shell out the $25 and have the repo done 4 u. It you lack the required skill to make the conversion with a normal cart it seems more practical than importing a famicom title and buying an adapter. I have the skill to make it. I don't have the skill to develop thi...

Re: FF3

Rather than sacrifice a SMB2 cart and do required modding, it makes more sense to buy the original cartridge seeing as the price really isn't that high. Long eBay URL With shipping it's $20, and if you don't read Japanese you can re-flash it with an English translation. Saves a lot of work, and giv...

I guess I will just use an actual Japanese FFIII board with a gyromite style converter. It will cost a few extra bucks, but it will be much easier and cleaner.

I have never added a battery. I am good with an iron and can follow directions well. Adding a battery doesn't look that complicated, but I have only seen pictures.

Final Fantasy III

Hey guys, I was wanting to play a little Final Fantasy III, and I need a little help. I have made plenty of reproductions to play with, but as you guys know this one is different. I can't find any info on how to do this one. Does anybody have any links or info they can help me out with? Thanks in ad...

You have to use a 27256 instead of the 27128. and double up the file. Why is that? That is strange because it worked just fine on my Yobo and Retro Mini. I am not doubting you here, just curious. Also, on a side note, is there any reason you can't use a 27c512 for the PRG? The pinouts seemed like i...

Yeah, that size thing doesn't make much sense to me either... Well, as crazy as it sounds, it appears to be the case. I got the two games back yesterday. I tried them on my Retro Mini in the car and they both worked great. When I got home I tried them on the toploader and got the same garbled junk ...

Why in the world would it be far worse ? It's pretty much the same I think - a "repro" is putting a ROM on a real cart sou you have to get a ROM first. What I am saying is that Nintendo is more likely to care about ROMs being distributed for commercially released games that they would abo...

This is far worse than making repros of unreleased games.

Yeah, I don't see the problem. If people want to build a cart of whatever, good for them. If they sell it to someone who knows what it is, there is no crime (unless it's done as a profitable copyright violation, but apparently that's not enforced with NES stuff). This isn't mass production (the one...
