Re: MMC3 Glitches
Well, my only floating pins were the WE ones for every chip. I connected them to 5V but still no difference. I think i'll check for mess and poor connections. I forgot to mention that i'm using this homemade programmer viewtopic.php?t=8938

Re: MMC3 Glitches
The glitches flicker around and they tend to increase on black background. They appear no matter the color of the textures but they are not constant as they appear at some certain moments and areas of the stage, and as i said they increase their number on black textures. I'll try your suggestions ri...

Re: MMC3 Glitches

However, i solved the problem after i disconnected pin 24 from pin 26 (OE and CE connected, as specified on Romlab) of the PR...

MMC3 Glitches
So I finally reprogrammed my first nes cart. I used a MMC3 (SMB 3)as a donor cart and some plcc32 AM29f040b chips for PRG and CHR. I works fine, as I already tested a lot of games on it including Werewolf, Contra Force, Operation C, Bram Stocker's Dracula, Sword Master, Shatterhand etc. All worked v...

Thanks for your help. That's the problem, the fact that my knowledge in programing is quite basic. I'm actually good at electronics especially when it comes to designing and manufacturing but again my knowledge regarding digital stuff is kinda poor (i should have paid more attention to that microcon...

Does anyone know if the files for this project, once available at http://ameba.lpt.fi/~hataarto/fun , are still available somewhere else? :-? I'm planning on making a reproduction of artoh's cart for myself because i find it the most complete and detailed diy cart project out there. I got some of th...

Famiclone to Nes cartridge adapter (60 to 72)
I recently added a 60 pin connector from an old famiclone (something like subor without keyboard) to my nes. I used the documentation from the site because it seems that the connector pinout from my famiclone was the same as the famicom one. At first it worked almost perfectly except that the connec...
