Re: Found a SNES LoROM board design
- There are no still-in-manufacture DIP EEPROMs larger than 4 Mibit / 512 KiB [...] False ; search AT27C080 I believe my pcbs are the best you can get in todays market, not to mention the easiest to use, and don't randomly reset. Huge lol, thanks for that. A little bit too full of yourself ? +1 wit...

No sharing, sorry.
By the way, GBA games use a complete different type of "rom".
look at NAND for more informations.

my adapters are for a personal use. (so this is just to limit (maybe) repro on ebay)
but impossible to see this "warning" with a closed shell, of course.

4 sale : Adapters [GB] (512ko & >512ko) / [SNES] GSU to TSOP
Hi guys, I've made few adapters months ago. they have "half-vias" for an easier soldering. GAMEBOY - for 512ko (max) games compatible with 29F040 (tsop 32) / 39SF040 (vtsop 32) http://www.ultimate-consoles.fr/uploads/monthly_12_2014/post-5150-0-34959400-1418467523_thumb.jpg http://www.ulti...

Re: SNES SOP-44 to DIP36
Actually, I'm completely agree with all of you. (level shifters or simple 100 ohms resistor - like Krikzz with everdrive -) I'am needed some returns form gamers with SA-1 repros (with games like Mario Rpg or Star Ocean) it could be very interesting. A friend of mine use 29L3211 and 26L6420 in his ar...

Re: SNES SOP-44 to DIP36
Yes I know this, but it's working perfectly on any SA-1 repro.
So, i've found something.
The lm1117 takes too much time... with 2x1n4148, games are booting/running fine.
Edit.
With the regulator too !
I must place a capa between output and gnd (10µf)

SNES SOP-44 to DIP36
Hi guys, i've made 2 tiny adapters for my repros, 1st for 29F1610 SOP eeprom (16mbits) 2nd for 29L3211 SOP eeprom (32mbits) http://i55.servimg.com/u/f55/14/41/82/92/dsc01112.jpg While the 16mbits works perfectly, the 32mbits don't boot (always black screen) Eeproms are set in 8bit mode (/Byte = GND)...

So As I couldn't make it work with 3 x 27c160,
I've made it with 2 x 27c322 + 2 x 74hc245 + 1 x 74ls139 using this thread :

l_oliveira send me a detailed/technical answer (always too hard me >_<): Tales of Phantasia is a good example for a HiROM with more than 32 Mbit ROM. It has a SHVC-LJ3M PCB featuring 32M + 16M MaskROMs. The 32M ROM is mapped to banks 80-FF in ordinary HiROM style (A15 is not ignored, so no mirroring...

So, I've checked the connections one more time, they are exactly as in your ASM file (supercic-key.asm) Maybe the fuse settings, I'll look at my programming software... Thanks ikari_01 :D Edit. Awesome Ikari, it was fuses settings ^^ So if anyone have a Wellon, change Oscillator Type in Config panel...

l_oliveira, a member of ASSEMblergames, give me a little answer/direction : One of the three ROMs (the first 2MB bank I believe) is connected with a different memory map than that of the other two. I don't remember the details but I believe one of the two banks is connected in mode 20 (lorom) while ...
