I'd say it's a pun, since he also has that subtitle on the game's title screen which can be seen in one of his development videos.
It did however confuse me too at first..

Instead of ROM hacking you could also try making LUA scripts for FCEUX (an emulator popular for its debugging capabilities). It is a scripting language that is executed on top of the game. The interesting part is that the code is not actually saved in the ROM you're using and it is a high-level prog...

Do you use DScaler or another program for displaying the video signal? If you use DScaler, use the Old Game deinterlacing method as that's designed for 240p sources. Oh, that's a program. Thought it was some sort of device. My bad. I'm going to try that out, thanks for the advice! €dit: Dang, it's ...

A cheap alternative to a hardware line doubler/scaler is to use a video capture device with your PC and suitable software. You might think the added latency of doing that would suck, but in fact -- depending on the capture hardware -- it's not too bad at all. PCI (Express) capture cards should give...

I think you'd be better of asking the people at NintendoAge.
They have all the collectors there.

Oh, I didn't know it was like that. I guess, I was wrong then, with the pitch not being corrected.

At least the music usually.
Megaman 2 for example. They didn't even adjust the pitch, as far as I know.

Isn't there a new PSP comming out now WITH a UMD drive, but without the wifi chip, so you can't play multiplayer??
Seems like this has become standard to all bigger electronic companies.

I think Tokumaru means real, authentic black! Like #FFFFFF if you want.
In these two pictures you showed us in your earlier post, there were different shades of black, not one.

A CHR File is not a background! It is the pure graphics data that can be used by your program and it usually is saved on a seperate ROM Chip called CHR-ROM on real carts.(sometimes it's RAM and one copies graphics from PRG-ROM - that's where the code is saved - into CHR-RAM) To draw a background on ...

The image is much wider (1600px) than my current desktop PC's monitor (1024x768 pixel LCD). Is NESICIDE usable at smaller screen sizes, or do you recommend buying a bigger monitor to get NESICIDE working? My desktop is the same size (though I'm talking about a wine virtual desktop) and the program ...

I have one here which is based on several syntax highlighting files I found either here or with a Google search. It is not perfect, but it works for me. You can give it a try if you want. I can't find the MIME-type file that goes with it anymore, but I'm sure one would be able to create that him- or...

I would love to find out more about what exactly you did as well! And I agree with those who said that these stereo-mods don't sound right! I think in your case it's noise+triangle+dpcm on the right speaker and the two square-waves on the left plus some mixing, am I right? Not really my thing, espec...
