Thanks cpow! I thought you included the last two packages with the master one this time, since the link from nesicide.org to the source only showed me that one. But whatever, I'll try it again :3 Edit: Alright, my mistake, your link only takes me to the master source link, but it shows me that this ...

I would love to try your emulator and it's debugging capabilities on Linux, since the only way I could get that kinda stuff is with FCEUX in wine and that's a pain, because it crashes often. The problem is, that I can't get your source from gitorious to compile. Apparently I'm missing the emulator_c...

In case you (Bellum) want to stick with ca65 and still read and use the Nerdy Nights tutorials which I highly recommend, I'd say check this out: https://bitbucket.org/ddribin/nerdy-nights/src It might not be perfect, but it's a good way to see how ca65 can be used while you're learning how to actual...

There is a work around for that problem!
Let me quote miau's Homepage text:
For two players on a Japanese Famicom system, pause the game and press UP on the second controller.

Oh btw, stuff isn't done blowing up around here yet. Today our refrigerator started putting out a nasty burning rubber smell. No prob, got ice and a big cooler and a cheap fridge on the horizon, but holy shit, heheh. See, what I mean :/ Hope you get over this "stuff breaking apart" phase ...

As far as I remember the retro duo has both S-Video and Composite Video, right?
If so, what type do you use? I heard that S-Video makes problems with the NES parts of the clone system.

I must have overlooked the "-g" when I compared the makefiles myself...

Seemed wierd to have 2 things fail it once, but I guess really I'm actually not surprised by that HDD. That seems to happen to me all the time... For a long time everything works fine, and then BAM! All of the sudden everything seems to commit suicide at once. (Might be just me though...) A HDD tha...

I think the FamiCom remake of Final Fantasy VII was even bigger than 1MB total PRG and from what I know, it plays fine on the system. Emulators are a different story ;3

The Matrix is probably powered by a 6502 processor, just like the Terminator ^^

Maybe an IRQ is about to occur and we loose a BRK instruction and we are all going to suffer in glitch universe until someone presses the RESET button.

Or maybe not...

The most drastic method (but apparently working) I have ever heard of was used in this video . The guy took the cartridge connector from a game genie and basicly built a top-loading NES out of a Toaster. The other drastic method would be to install an AV-Mod to your top-loader. I'm not an expert wit...

I'm still alive too ^^
Or maybe I just didn't notice that I died and the life after the death is 100% the same to what we actually call "life" and you can die again and again and again...

I extended mine so I could use the FDS adapter So you can play FDS on the NES? I never thought that would be compatible without wiring all kinds of connections to the Expansion port. Well...I actually never looked into that and I have not really a clue, how the FDS works... Still, FDS connected to ...

@3gengames
I think they are talking about a PowerPak like development cart and not a new NES clone or something.
Maybe I misunderstood your post, but it seems to me like you misunderstood this thread due to a misleading title that fooled me before.
