btw, is there a list of free games - free of copyright restrictions that any emulator can use somewhere? I'm working on getting firefox 4.0 more speedy and making some progress. I have to re-write the CPU core in order to do it though -- kind of a lengthy process.

One of the ways to host games (not roms) legally, is to host them directly from the cart itself. (really this is the only 100% legal way that I know of). I wish Blargg's CPU tests were a bit more specific.
