I would say as long as it's an AM3 motherboard it should work. AM3 is also backwards compatible with AM2+ so even that should work.

Unless, of course, the computer is so old (e.g. PC133) that the chipset can't use 1 GB modules. That's why I upgraded from 128 MB to 384 MB: the biggest stick it takes is 256 MB. Remove class menus? Like File, Edit etc? You can put them back just like you can in Vista. What I meant is the classic start menu, when you press the start button. If I can run combofix you guys can. lol. It won't hurt anything. In fact I always say no to installing recovery console. I use it at work to get rid of my customer's viruses.

Oh, he usually takes away the buy button and replaces it with "temporarily unavailable". They were on sale for a while for $125. I guess that was a successful sale.
